Acceptance of Terms

Acceptance of Terms By accessing or using the services of Layer8 (“Layer8,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

Services Provided

Layer8 provides professional technology services for both businesses and residential clients, including but not limited to: 1. Business IT consulting and implementation. 2. Cybersecurity solutions and monitoring. 3. Home technology setup and support. 4. Network configuration and troubleshooting 5. Commercial Cyber Compliance.

Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to: Provide accurate and complete information necessary for us to deliver services. Ensure they have proper authorization for any systems, networks, or devices we work on. Maintain secure backups of all important data before services are performed.

Warranty and Liability

Layer8 warrants services will be delivered with reasonable skill and care. Hardware and software warranties are governed by their respective manufacturers or vendors. Layer8 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to data loss, downtime, or business interruption.

Confidentiality

We respect client confidentiality. Any sensitive information obtained in the course of service delivery will not be disclosed to third parties, except as required by law.

Data & Security Disclaimer

While Layer8 follows industry best practices, no system can be guaranteed completely secure. Clients acknowledge that cybersecurity services reduce but do not eliminate risks. Layer8 is not responsible for unauthorized access, breaches, or attacks beyond our reasonable control.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with written notice. Outstanding balances remain payable upon termination.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Indian River County, Florida.  Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Payment Terms

All pricing is subject to applicable taxes and fees. All invoices are due upon completion. If invoice is not paid when due, interest will accrue at the rate of 2% per month (24% per annum). If after due date(s) the account is placed in the hands of an attorney or collection agency for collection of all or part of the amount of Invoice or Invoices, the customer shall be liable for all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney’s fees, whether or not said matter is brought to trial,
